Welcome to KinLore.

“Kin” is from Kin -- meaning family and Kindred.

“Lore” is for the knowledge that is passed down. It’s also one of my nicknames (Laur - short for Lauren).

I get it, life is busy, messy and we are all short on time. Which is why KinLore workshops take away the barriers of trying a new-to-you craft. We’ve gathered great instructors, supplies and a cozy space to make learning, exploring, and being ourselves meaningful and fun.

Wanna try your hand at punch needle?

Been itching to try weaving but don’t want to sign up for 3 months of classes?

Ready to cast on some stitches? (AND have a girlfriend’s day that doesn’t involve nail polish?)

Right this way.

In a KinLore workshop, the only expectations are: come as you are, enjoy feeling accepted, inspired and be ready to get creative.

Explore the line-up of workshops. For first dibs on new workshops (they fill up fast!), sign up for the newsletter.

Lauren Ann Paul is an artist and life long learner. If something can be made with your hands and a few tools she is seeking the knowledge to make it. Mama, artist, maker, business owner… she wears many hats but shines as a teacher of handcrafted.

See her art.
